If you have one of those friends who practices yoga often, talks about being "in the now," this would be a great place to get a gift for them. It's also fun to come and browse those astrology books ;). When I came in here once, they even offered free "spiritual readings," (I don't think they do anymore) and I took one and it was really fun! Probably not the most accurate, but fun nonetheless.

Apparently, this place has been around for like 40 years!

I was gifted a reading for my birthday last year and went before I started a new job. The reading helped me get clarity on the career path I was about to embark on, and gave me some relief. I plan on getting another reading done in the near future.

Well named for sure, as I always leave inspired. They have a very unique selection of beautiful jewellery, with some of the most exquisite necklaces and pieces I have ever seen. Plus an amazing book Collection. Even if I don't buy anything for myself or a gift for someone, I often spend time browsing just to enjoy the bright energy there and maybe learn something new by the cool conversations usually taking place. They offer a large selection of incense, decor, beginner and advanced tools for spiritual growth, jewellery, trinkets, and many more wonders that I will leave for the element of surprise. They supply a lot of their inventory from local artists and venders. Even if you aren't into this "scene", it's worth a trip because there's something for everyone. I found a really cool book for my baby nephew, one of a kind! Lastly, don't we all love to support local business and the cultural enriching of our city?! Especially those who care for the emotional well being of it's inhabitants : )

There are many items and aids to enhance one's journey with books, incense and notions.

I attended a demonstration and talk about cranio-sacral therapy for healing. I wasn't sure what to expect but found session interesting. The speaker was Debbie Miller who was knowledgeable and informative during the discussion and demonstration as well. I learned about energy as it moves through the body and supports the body in healing. I was fortunate to be selected as a subject for the demonstration and get first hand experience in the metaphysical therapy. I didn't feel any immediate result from the session but learned that it isn't always a fast response and that working with one area can and will affect a different area in the body. What I was aware of after the session and sitting up on the massage table I felt an exhilarating rush to my head area as did others who were afforded the opportunity to experience the session.

I was impressed with knowledge imparted to the attendees by Deborah. I am considering a follow-up with her to see if I will be able to get any release from the areas in my body that i have difficulties. I am grateful for this experience and optimistic on my healing journey.

The last time I was in, she loudly told a customer that she couldn't make change for him from a back room because there were other people here shopping. We all looked uncomfortably at each other, wondering if we should leave. And when I was at the register a few minutes later to pay for my items, she asked me where the book was that I was holding earlier. I explained that I had showed my sister a page from it before returning it to the shelf. She sniffed, and I got the clear sense that she thought that I was about to walk out of the store with the book.
All in all, I prefer not to be made uncomfortable when I could just as easily take my business elsewhere.
